Taiwan, 21th March 2018- Member Council of AFLAG, delegates and business leads from ASEAN have attended the Council Meeting &Regional Seminar at Taizhong Windsor hotel. The Regional Technical Seminar focused around surveying, disaster prevention and land management cooperation.

AFLAG aims to promote and advance science, practice and application of land surveying and geomatics; encourage communication between persons charged with technical responsibility for planning, design and execution of land surveying and geomatics; educate and seek to improve, extend and elevate technical and general knowledge of members and persons concerned with land surveying and geomatics; serve as a focal point for exchange of ideas in the ASEAN region; disseminate information on land surveying and geomatics in the region.

AFLAG holds 3-4 times council meeting & regional seminar very year and the SEASC every two years. Department of land administration, Bureau of agriculture, National Land Surveying and Mapping center, Water Resources Agency and Board of Foreign Trade from Taiwan have engaged in the council meeting and the seminar. It suggested that Taiwan as the congress host region worked more closely with the ASEAN FLAG to attract more attention and bring the seminar  to the grassroots surveyors.

The regional technical seminar provided with opportunities to share insights into regional market dynamics, as well as exchange views on opportunities from disaster prevention and land management cooperation in ASEAN.

Hi-Target as a mainland business representative attended the seminar and received certificate from the organizer and the chairman of the association for technical solution sharing speech at the meeting.
