2019 Hi-Target - State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (Wuhan University) (LIESMARS) Internship was held in Guangzhou on 24-28 June. Over 30 students from State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (Wuhan University) took part in the project.
On 24 June, the students attended the opening ceremony in Hi-Target headquarter and visited Hi-Target showroom. With the introduction of Stefan Wei, Marketing Director of Hi-Target International, they had a better understanding of Hi-Target and the products.

This was the third year for Hi-Target to organize such an event. In the past two years, Hi-Target has provided more than 30 courses of surveying and mapping for nearly 100 students across the globe.
Within the 5 days, students took the courses of Popular Data Acquisition Technology & Applications, including RTK, GIS, Total Station, UAV, Machine Control and Indoor Positioning, and they have also practiced using the surveying instruments by themselves.
On the last day, all students were divided into groups to do presentations. In their presentations, they combined what they had learned at Hi-Target and the development situation of their motherland to explore the possibilities of applying the solutions to their countries.
Despite the busy schedule, students also visited Guangzhou and experienced Cantonese culture.
As a socially responsible enterprise, Hi-Target is committed to providing supports on technology and equipment to developing countries, such as Technology for Resilience - Belt and Road Initiative Capacity Building Project and Hi-Target Global Real-time Precise Point Positioning Service System (Hi-RTP). In the future, Hi-Target will continue to play an active role in talent cultivation, technology transfer, etc.
